Main duties of the job

The Operational Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering induction and development training to new and existing staff across a number of Barchester care homes and hospitals. Key duties include planning and publishing training calendars, providing practical hands-on training, ensuring employee training records are up-to-date, observing workplace practice, and maintaining regular contact with new team members to provide coaching and support. The role also involves attending external meetings and conferences, and working with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans.
