Job summary
As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of the quality care the organization is known for. You'll work closely with the General Manager, taking on leadership duties in their absence, and help with ensuring care standards and motivating your team. You'll inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Main duties of the job
The role involves leading by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking regulatory compliance. You'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies to achieve your goals. Experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments is important. You'll also need HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses.
