Job summary
As a Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer with Barchester care homes, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You'll work across two different care homes in the region, so flexibility in your working schedule is essential. Your role will involve a range of clinical tasks, leading and inspiring your colleagues, and introducing ideas and changes to enhance the daily lives of both staff and residents.
Main duties of the job
In this Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer role, you'll be responsible for caring for the varying needs of our residents to ensure we deliver exceptional, person-centred care and support. You'll need to respect the dignity and preferences of our residents while carrying out a range of clinical tasks, such as taking blood pressure. As a leader, you'll need to inspire your colleagues and implement ideas and changes that will make every day fulfilling for our staff and residents. Due to the nature of this role, you'll be required to work across two different care homes in the region, which means you'll need to be flexible with your work schedule, including working days, nights, bank holidays, and weekends. A valid driving license and access to your own car are essential for this role.
