Job summary
Barchester Healthcare is looking for a Quality Improvement & Regulation Manager to support their mission of delivering good and outstanding services across their care homes and hospitals. The role involves conducting Quality Improvement Reviews, writing reports, providing assurance to the Board and Executive Team, and leading key quality improvement projects.
Main duties of the job
The Quality Improvement & Regulation Manager will be responsible for conducting Quality Improvement Reviews across a portfolio of services, using data and intelligence to identify risks and opportunities. They will write reports and create action plans to support services in meeting regulatory requirements, as well as provide assurance to the Board and Executive Team on quality and compliance. The role also involves coaching and mentoring General Managers and Hospital Directors, covering the Regulation Duty Desk, and staying up to date with regulations, standards, and best practice guidance.
