Job summary
As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. You will be responsible for updating the home's social media platforms and creating imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. This is an extremely rewarding role that involves getting to know the residents and their families to develop tailored activity programs focused on maximizing their wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Main duties of the job
You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Lead. Your organizational skills and driven mindset mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. You'll also need to hold a UK driving licence as you will be required to take our residents out in a minibus.
