Job summary

As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of the residents. Main duties of the job

The Activities Lead will be responsible for devising and coordinating a range of imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit the interests and abilities of the residents. This includes working closely with the community engagement team to create community links and showcase the home, as well as updating the home's social media platforms. The role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to empathize and connect with the residents.

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community.
