Job summary
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the organization to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for their residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the residents' wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Main duties of the job
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing a wide range of activities for the care home residents, taking into account their individual interests and abilities. This includes activities within the home as well as in the local community. The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to engage and motivate both residents and staff. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training and development opportunities will be provided.
