Job summary
As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. It's a very varied role that will see you provide cover as and when we need it, including monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording important observations.
Main duties of the job
The role of Bank Regional Care Assistant involves providing support and companionship to residents, ensuring they enjoy meaningful one-on-one time with carers. You'll need a background in care, good understanding of elderly care, and a Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. Flexibility is important, as you'll be travelling across the area, so you'll need your own car or ready access to one.
