Job summary
This is a brand new opportunity for a Purchasing System Coordinator to join the established procurement team at Barchester Healthcare's Warrington office. The role involves supporting the implementation of a new Purchasing System as part of the organization's digital transformation. The Purchasing System Coordinator will be the first point of contact for staff across 250 care homes and hospitals, providing support and guidance during the go-live and beyond.
Main duties of the job
As a Purchasing System Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting users with various purchasing system-related tasks, including supplier onboarding, raising purchase requisitions, placing purchase orders, maintaining supplier catalogue data, goods receipts, order approvals, invoice queries, and resolving general purchasing system issues. You will work within set service level agreements and key performance indicators, and be part of the development and user acceptance testing process, providing valuable insights and ideas based on your previous experience.
