Job summary
As a Receptionist at a Barchester care home, you'll provide the warm welcome that helps to make sure every resident and visitor feels at home with us. You'll have a vitally important part to play in creating a positive and friendly environment, with responsibilities that include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing the reception area, and showing prospective residents and their families around.
Main duties of the job
The role of Receptionist with Barchester Healthcare is very varied. You can expect to answer phone calls, greet visitors, manage the reception area and show prospective residents and their families around. We might also need you to carry out some administrative tasks, like typing, photocopying and filing. You'll need to be professional, caring, courteous and well organised to join us as a Receptionist, and you'll take a real interest in our residents and go out of your way to make every visitor feel at home.
