We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Liaison Officer to provide a Receptionist/ Administration role, in Reading, Maidenhead, Aylesbury, and Oxford.
The post holder will work to provide the highest standards of patient care and perform competencies as required as a Receptionist/ Administrator. The successful applicant must be prepared to travel, delivering a supportive and non-judgemental service to patients and their supporters attending clinics, co-ordinating the patient pathway throughout the patients time in the clinic.

Main duties of the job
Deliver a consistent, patient centred, caring, confidential and professional reception and administration service.
To enable the smooth running of a patient focused service.
Ensure all patient case notes are processed in a consistent and timely fashion in line with monthly invoicing requirements.
Treat all patients with dignity and respect and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Liaise with clinical and medical staff regarding patient and medical queries.
Co-ordinate patient treatment pathway throughout time in the clinic
Chaperone ultrasound scanning process when required.
Co-ordinate and facilitate the delivery of patient prescriptions and legal documents.
Prepare and complete patient notes
Referrals to external providers or NHS Hospitals
Undertake cashiering duties
Use of INFORM patient record system (training provided)
Accurately, complete and legible documents.
Ensure all notes are prepared and ready for consultation and for treatment to proceed on the patient arrival.
Robust and consistent approach, ensuring all patient data in relation to their clinic appointment and/or subsequent treatment is accurately recorded on the database.
Where appropriate, ensure a formal discharge letter is sent to the patients GP.
