We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse or midwife to work in our Manchester Teleconsultation Centre/Clinic. Working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 38 Hours.
You will need to be able to fulfil an integral role within
our multidisciplinary team delivering a confidential abortion service. You will
need to be motivated, enthusiastic, caring and empathetic. Pro-choice is a
must.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for nurses/midwives who can deliver safe and effective care of patients wanting to access our service for consultation of unplanned pregnancy, surgical and medical abortions, contraception and sexual health services for women in accordance with Healthcare Commission Standards, NMC Guidelines
for Professional Practice and company policies and procedures.

The post holder will have a duty to ensure that the
principles of patient, carer and public involvement and engagement are adhered

Patient Experience.

- Current Nurse and or Midwifery Council NMC registration as a Registered Nurse Sub part 1 of the NMC register Registered Midwife. Up to date knowledge and experience of working in a sexual health TOP or Gynaecological service
Desirable
- Ultrasound scanning experience in first and second stage trimester.
- Faculty of Reproductive Sexual Healthcare FSRH Letter of Competence in intrauterine techniques ie IUS and or IDU fitter and Insertion and removal of Subdermal Implants. SDI Recognised qualification in Independent/Supplementary Prescribing.
