As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate, determined and resilient Health & Safety Manager for our Clinical Services Division who wants to make a difference in the areas that we work in as well as within their career.
Main duties of the job
The Health & Safety Manager role will specifically support our Prometheus (Birmingham) and Mountain Healthcare (Stevenage) businesses within the RCI Group providing a full Health and Safety remit to each business whilst helping to drive the businesses forward.

Some key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a robust health and safety management system for both companies promoting the delivery of high standards of health and safety management
- Creating a positive culture around H&S and ensuring compliance of H&S across the companies
- Carry out and ensure compliance with risk assessments, conduct audits of all sites as required by legislation
- Recommend and implement control measures and advise on the standard of PPE issued to employees
- To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the
- findings on the relevant NHSE forms, Incident Logs and RIDDOR
- Conduct/organise relevant health and safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety.
- Identify areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or HSE guidance.
- Arrange such training/certification once identified.
