Main duties of the job

As the Lead SACT Nurse with us, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and developing our chemotherapy service while delivering advanced, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatment.You will provide specialist clinical leadership, manage resources effectively and ensure a consistently high standard of care across the service. Working closely with consultants, pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will oversee safe chemotherapy delivery, coordinate nurse-led clinics and maintain excellence in patient experience.This is your opportunity to influence service development, strengthen governance standards and create an environment where both patients and staff feel supported, confident and empowered.
