As one of four Senior SACT Nurses, you'll be part of a specialist team delivering systemic anti-cancer therapies, while helping to build and shape a brand-new service.What You'll Do Deliver safe, high-quality SACT treatments Manage a patient caseload and run nurse-led clinics Provide expert advice and support to patients and families Support clinical governance, audits and service improvement Participate in on-call and triage services Mentor and support junior staff and students Contribute to research and evidence-based practice Co-ordinate SACT Unit shifts Participate in Quality Improvement projectsWhat Youll Bring NMC registration Experience in oncology and chemotherapy delivery Competency in venepuncture and cannulation Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team Holds a SACT passport and has a minimum of 2 years SACT experience.
