Main duties of the job

As our SABR Analytics Lead Physicist, youll use your physics expertise and data-driven thinking to advance one of the UKs most innovative MR-guided and stereotactic radiotherapy services. Youll design and maintain automated data pipelines, bringing together information from planning systems, treatment machines and imaging platforms to power real-time analytics.

Youll create dashboards and QA tools that track treatment accuracy, adaptive workflows and service performance, helping to detect trends early and maintain the highest standards of safety and governance. Your analysis will support service audits, outcome reporting and research projects turning complex clinical and technical data into meaningful insights that influence practice, commissioning and insurer engagement.

Collaboration is key: youll work closely with physicists, dosimetrists, radiographers, oncologists and service leaders to embed analytics into everyday decision-making. Youll also contribute to publications, conference abstracts and external presentations, showcasing the impact of our SABR service and helping shape its future direction.

Alongside your analytics and research responsibilities, youll maintain hands-on clinical work to ensure solutions stay practical, safe and relevant to patient care. Support the implementation of integrated analytics platforms into the SABR service.

Outcome Reporting and Clinical Research

Lead statistical analysis of SABR treatment data and contribute to retrospective and prospective PROM and CROM registries.
