Job summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Imaging Manager to join our team at our Portsmouth Community Diagnostic Centre. 

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Graduate radiographers, HCA's, and administrative staff.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the MRI, CT and X-ray services and be actively involved in rota planning, performance reviews, site/service meetings, audit, investigations and protocol optimisation and management.

You will support the Centre Manager of the service in ensuring a high standard of service is delivered and maintained and that the service is CQC compliant.

Main duties of the job

As an Imaging Manager, you will be responsible for supporting  and developing a team of Radiographers, Clinical Assistants and Administrators to ensure the delivery of a quality service and the highest quality of patient care.You will ensure that the service is fully compliant with all relevant legislation, Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures and will work alongside key stakeholders within the CDC. You will also be required to manage the center's budget and performance targets.This role requires a strong educational background in radiography or nuclear medicine, supported by relevant registrations and, ideally, additional leadership or specialist qualifications.
