We are now looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our growing team in our Newcastle office and play a key role in supporting our people operations. This is a hands-on role supporting high-volume onboarding, employee administration and day-to-day HR activity across a busy and fast-moving healthcare workforce.

Job Advert – HR Administrator

The Pharmacist Network – Newcastle upon Tyne Full time | On-site | ?26,000 – ?27,000 per annum

The Pharmacist Network is a fast-growing healthcare organisation, providing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians into GP practices and Primary Care Networks across the UK.

We are now looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our growing team in our Newcastle office and play a key role in supporting our people operations.

This is a hands-on role supporting high-volume onboarding, employee administration and day-to-day HR activity across a busy and fast-moving healthcare workforce.

 

What you’ll be doing

You will support the full employee lifecycle, including:

  • Coordinating candidate onboarding and employment set-up
  • Managing pre-employment checks (right to work, references, DBS, compliance documentation)
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Recording and monitoring absence and leave
  • Supporting investigations and disciplinary processes, including note taking and documentation
  • Preparing HR and employee relations letters
  • Supporting managers and the wider People team with general HR administration

 

What we’re looking for

  • At least 1 years’ experience in an HR or People Administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, supportive approach
  • Someone who is highly organised, proactive and approachable, with a genuine interest in supporting people and managers
