Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity in our Furness Dialysis clinic for an experienced manager or deputy who is looking to make the next move in their career and progress to clinic management.

Main duties of the job

Full responsibility and accountability for the daily operational and clinical management, in order to meet quality outcomes for medical and financial performance.

The Role: Clinic Manager Furness Dialysis Unit

Were looking for a passionate and visionary Clinic Manager to lead our Furness Dialysis Unit in partnership with the NHS. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of renal care, inspire a dedicated team, and make a lasting impact on patient lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Furness Dialysis Unit, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Champion patient-centred care, addressing concerns with empathy and delivering exceptional service.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare partners to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes through innovation and best practices.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and supplies effectively to optimise performance.
  • Participate in our UK-wide Clinic Manager Development Programme for ongoing personal and professional growth.

What Were Looking For

  • A registered nurse (NMC) with renal experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in an acute healthcare setting, ideally within dialysis or renal care.
  • Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and its application in independent healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A compassionate leader who inspires and motivates teams.
