We have a really exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive service delivering high standard care to children and Families in Waltham Forest as an Operational Lead -Fixed term for 12 months with possibility of extension.
Waltham Forest is a very exciting place to work. We are delivering 0-19 Universal/Early intervention services within Health Visiting, School Nursing and Family Nurse Partnership services, working closely in partnership with Early Help, Early Education, HENRY and Family Hubs .
As one of the 78 National Family Hub pilot sites our partnership working key and we are very proud of developing our innovative and joined up practice in Waltham Forest to ensure the best in service provision to children and Families.

Main duties of the job
- To provide operational management functions for the team.
- To deliver effective clinical leadership and direction to the 0-19 Team within the Waltham Forest.
- To support and develop the strategic direction for the service in line with national policies and locally identified health needs within defined role.
- To support delivery of service transformation and development of integrated clinical care pathways in response to latest evidence-based practice, local strategic needs assessments and the requirements of commissioned contractual agreements.
- To manage a range of processes and systems, across the service to support the effective running of the service and clinical care pathways.
- To ensure harmonisation of quality care delivery across the service.
- To lead the learning and development plan for services and ensure that developmental requirements are in place for all staff in line with the knowledge and skills framework.
- To lead change management in the implementation of service development and transformation.
- To create a culture in which innovative ideas can flourish and provide vision and inspiration to enable staff to deliver support effectively.
- To identify and participate in the tendering for new business opportunities.
- To ensure effective performance management and professional and clinical leadership of the workforce.
- To ensure services are cost effective and delivered within budget.
