Job summary
As a core member of the Tower Hamlets GP Care Group CIC
education team the post holder will support the development and implementation
of multi-disciplinary professional development sessions as they relate to
primary and community health care workforce needs.
The education coordinator will support the delivery of the
Community Education Provider Network (CEPN) programme through events
coordination support including the planning, advertising and evaluation of the
programmes.
They will be responsible for events coordination, including
the monthly Primary Care Protected Learning Time programme.

Main duties of the job
1. Coordination for Education & Training programme:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of Education & training programmes, ensuring adherence to training objectives, timelines, and quality standards,
- Provide administrative assistance in organising training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including scheduling, logistics, participant registration, and materials preparation,
- Create and Manage event timelines,
- Provide support in arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and internal personnel,
- Support with booking venues, catering and equipment for events, setting up rooms as necessary,
- Provide onsite events management,
2. Documentation Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, databases, and documentation, including participant details, attendance records, evaluations, and feedback,
3. Analytical skills
- Analyse information and feedback from training and other events and collate reports to present feedback,
- Support in collating learning needs surveys and lead on producing reports from outcomes,
- Support the Project/Programme lead by maintaining appropriate systems to enable effective planning and scheduling,
4. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate effective communication between trainers, trainees, and relevant stakeholders, disseminating training-related information, scheduling meetings, and responding to inquiries promptly,

- Develop and maintain schedules for training sessions and ensure all stakeholders are informed of event timelines.
3.Budget Management:
- Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-efficiency.
4.Communication and Promotion:
- Promote training events through internal communications, social media, email campaigns, or other marketing channels.
- Liaise with participants, instructors, and vendors to communicate event details and respond to inquiries.
5.Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting:
- Collect feedback from participants and trainers.
- Analyse event outcomes, track participant satisfaction, and prepare post-event reports.
6.Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Coordinate with vendors for venue setup, catering, and equipment.
