Main duties of the job
- You will be the first point of contact for the service and the person that schedules our training programmes, arranging publicity and ensuring that places are filled.
- A strong focus will be on managing IT systems and processes to ensure efficient running of the service and a seamless modern employee experience.

Main duties and responsibilities
Administrative support for Learning & Development Programmes:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning programmes, meeting timelines, and ensuring that capacity is utilised efficiently.
- Provide administrative assistance in organising training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including scheduling, logistics, participant registration, and materials preparation.
- Provide support in arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and internal colleagues.
- Support with booking venues, catering and equipment for events, setting up rooms as necessary.
- Use IT systems and tools to manage and evaluate training programmes effectively.
- Support the effective running of the People Development function, maintaining appropriate systems and processes to enable effective planning, scheduling and delivery.
Documentation Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, databases, and documentation, including participant details, attendance records, evaluations, and feedback.
Analytical skills- Analyse information and feedback from training and other events and collate reports as required.
- Support in collating learning needs surveys and lead on producing reports from outcomes.
Communication
- Facilitate effective communication between organisation teams/services, trainers, trainees, and relevant stakeholders as required, disseminating training-related information, scheduling meetings, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Provide the first point of contact for the People Development function.
- Drafting communication and publicity content as required.
- Ensure the People Development Intranet pages are accurate, and regularly updated.
Finance
- Process incoming invoices and follow up on payments as required.
- Deal with all queries relating to finance and invoice payments.
