Job summary
This is a great opportunity to have a big impact in the
Care Group, working in partnership with service and corporate colleagues to
help improve recruitment and retention in some key service areas.
You will work alongside service leads and hiring
managers, designing and supporting effective and innovative recruitment
programmes and retention strategies.
The role is for 12-month secondment or fixed term.Hours are flexible up to 37.5 hours a week
Location hybrid, with time in the UTC at the Royal London and in Waltham Forest

Workforce Plans
Work in partnership with operational
and corporate services to develop workforce plans for Urgent Treatment Centre and Waltham Forest 0-19, designed
to deliver over the next 12/18 months:

Increased
supply of appointable candidates and reduction in vacancy levels

Reduction
in agency spend
Recruitment
To lead and manage project delivery of
the workforce plans and associated activities.
To work in partnership with HR
colleagues to develop and deliver effective recruitment programmes over the
next 12/18 months.
To work with the Comms Team to further
develop Care Group employer brand to support effective recruitment activity.
To actively support UTC and Waltham Forest 0-19
with delivering effective recruitment campaigns, providing operational support
and advice as appropriate.
To work with colleagues to develop recruitment
content that supports the recruitment & retention programme, including drafting
engaging job adverts and publicity materials.
To manage key performance indicators
for the project, taking corrective action where targets are not being achieved.
To provide monthly update reports for presentation
at People Committee.
