Main duties of the job
You will play a vital role in providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a diverse mix of telephone, face-to-face, and home visit appointments, delivering both planned and urgent primary care services.
Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the health and well-being of the local community.
- Provide tailored, patient-centred care to meet individual needs.
- Proactively support patients with complex or long-term conditions to improve their quality of life.
- Offer expert advice and guidance to support the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Uphold high standards of evidence-based practice to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

What youll work on
- A mix of telephone, face to face and home visit appointments
- Understand the patient population to be able to provide high quality care to patients
- Undertake both planned and urgent primary care as required
- Provide patient focussed, evidence-based practice to a high standard
- Supporting the wider MDT to ensure patients with long term and/or complex health conditions are cared for at the right time, by the right clinician
About Rosedean House Surgery
Rosedean House Surgery is a well-established GP practice in the heart of Liskeard, a historic market town in Cornwall; a gateway to Bodmin Moor and the coast, close to Looe and Plymouth. The surgery has served the local community since 1874 and is now home to a dedicated team, providing care to approximately 10,000 registered patients. Were proud to continue a long tradition of healthcare in the area, offering high-quality, patient-centred services in a friendly and collaborative environment.
We have exciting plans to deliver a state-of-the-art redevelopment of the surgery in the very near future.
