Rosedean House Surgery is a well-established GP practice based in the heart of Liskeard, Cornwall. The building has served the local community since 1874 and is now home to a dedicated team, providing care to approximately 10,000 registered patients. Main duties of the job
Rosedean House Surgery is seeking a Receptionist (Patient Navigator) to join out team. Exact working hours and shifts will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate. In this essential role, you'll ensure the smooth running of the surgery, providing patients with a positive experience while supporting our team to deliver outstanding care. We understand how important your role is and will value your contributions every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors, managing check-ins, and providing appointment information.
- Answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Scheduling and managing appointments using our system.
- Processing prescription requests from patients and pharmacies.
- Handling patient queries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and letters, with accuracy.
- Keeping the reception area tidy and ensuring smooth handovers for colleagues.
- Completing administrative tasks such as patient registrations and updates.
