Job responsibilities

What youll work on

  • Delivering safe, effective, and compliant care to patients across the practice
  • Making autonomous clinical decisions in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Managing planned and urgent primary care presentations, including minor illness
  • Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
  • Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement, alongside the Lead Nurse
  • Providing clinical leadership within the practice and supporting high standards of care

Essential

  • Are a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with current NMC / HCPC / GPhC registration
  • Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and are a certified Independent Prescriber

Experience

Essential

  • Primary care experience, including minor illness management
  • Experience managing whole episodes of care while working collaboratively within a wider multidisciplinary team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong clinical reasoning and sound decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly, approachable manner
