Job summary
OneMedical Group are looking for a Triage Clinician with a keen interest in urgent care development, to join our team at Co-Located Services covering Shakespeare Walk-in-Centre and LGI in Leeds . This is a new role due to the growth of the service and an enhanced model of care.
About Primary Care Co-located Services
Our Co-Located Services are based within the Emergency Departments at Leeds General Infirmary, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. The services are located either in or near to Leeds City Centre, has good public transport links and onsite parking.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be able to assess adult and paediatric patients, providing advice, signposting and repatriation, where appropriate, determining their need for immediate medical attention. Patients once assessed will be prioritised ensuring effective and timely review based on their clinical need.
Hours: We offer both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time roles on a rota basis, covering 5 days over 7.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will work as part of the MDT at the centre, supporting the team, ensuring effective communication and safe management of the patients at all times throughout the shift.
The role will require the individual to participate in training given in house and attend any necessary courses that are required.
The job holder must have the following knowledge, training and experience:
- Registration with the NMC / HCPC
- Previous triage training and face to face triage experience
- Experience of working in Urgent care
- An in depth understanding of NEWS2/ PEWS
- Experience of working with System One
- Good knowledge of urgent care clinical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Evidence of recent training and development or courses
- Evidence of continued professional development
