Main duties of the job
As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our People Strategy, driving culture, and ensuring the People function provides an exceptional service to teams across the Group. If you're passionate about leading transformational change, supporting others to thrive, and delivering meaningful impact, wed love to hear from you. The role will involve national travel, as the post-holder is expected to maintain a visible and consistent presence across all practices within the Group.

What You'll be Doing:
- Leading and managing a multidisciplinary People team covering HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll, and Pensions.
- Delivering and tracking progress against the OneMedical Group People Strategy, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.
- Providing expert support on employee relations matters, advising and coaching leaders to ensure compassionate and compliant outcomes.
- Leading on TUPE transfers, change management, and adapting to evolving NHS and employment law developments.
- Enhancing and embedding policies, procedures, and people practices that support our mission.
- Driving a strategic and inclusive approach to talent acquisition and retention.
- Owning the implementation of our Wellbeing Strategy, fostering a culture of care and mental health awareness.
- Championing equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring every colleague feels seen, supported, and valued.
- Leading our employee engagement efforts, including surveys, values-based initiatives, and staff events.
- Overseeing Group-wide Learning and Development, including succession planning and manager capability.
- Providing data-led insights and regular reporting to our Executive team on key workforce KPIs and compliance. and look forward to receiving the signed contract so we can move forward with your planned start date of 16th June.

- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent qualification) or extensive senior HR leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practices.
- Up-to-date understanding of wider People and organisational development trends, including diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, and workforce engagement.
Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience within a People/HR function, ideally within a complex, multi-site or healthcare organisation.
- Strong background in employee relations, with experience managing complex and sensitive casework.
- Experience leading organisational change, including TUPE transfers, restructures, and cultural transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrable success in developing and delivering People strategies aligned to business goals.
- Experience working collaboratively at Executive or Board level, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Track record of leading and developing People teams across HR, Recruitment, L&D, and Payroll functions.
Skills & Personal Qualities
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- A confident coach and mentor who can support colleagues across all levels.

This role will require working from our base office at Bank Top Support Centre, Black Hill Rd, Leeds LS21 1PY. Please note that there is no public transport to or near our head office, so own transport is required. Our offices are surrounded by fields and pathways and are just minutes away from the beautiful Golden Acre Park.
