Westgate Surgery is looking for an experienced Primary Care Business / Practice Manager and who is looking for their next role.
Main duties of the job
This post will provide various opportunities to undertake varying work and projects through, transformation and change, workforce development, and financial planning. Working with and reporting to the Senior Operations Manager for Primary Care, the successful candidate will be an experienced leader who is able to bring the local team together and guide them through the continued journey.
Westgate Surgery is a growing practice located in the rural market town of Otley, situated on the outskirts of Leeds. A modern and spacious GP surgery with varied healthcare professionals to meet extensive patient needs, all routinely offering face-to-face, video and telephone appointments Monday Friday 8-6.30, and extended opening hours offered to our 6,000 patients ensures we provide extensive care to our community. The purpose-built building includes a large patient car park, with full disability access.

Job responsibilities
The Business Manager will undertake all aspects of the role including (but not limited to) business as usual, quality including CQC, financial performance, workforce development and People, strategic future planning, driving improvements and growth. They will submit regular highlight reports to the Senior Operations Manager to share feedback and confirmation of how their service is performing. Using a data driven approach the local leader will work with Business Intelligence to get the information that they require to show the services overall performance. They will also use this data to identify where there are potential gaps and what interventions need to be put in place to support service delivery.
