We have a fantastic opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our team at Sheffield Walk in Centre to cover Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Main duties of the job
The GP role provides professional and clinical care to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients.
The post holder will work within the MDT at the Walk-in Centre, practicing high quality evidence-based medicine.

Job responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who loves general practice and wants to provide the highest standards of care for allpatients. The post holder will carry out all the duties expected from a primary care general practitioner complying with the standards required by the GMC and RCGP, in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines and the companies values. This is a varied clinical role within the management of various patient groups.
The successful candidate should;
- Be aqualifiedGP
- Have a current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
- Have an MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
- Have sound knowledge of clinical governance
Hours: up to 30 hours available
Sheffield Walk in Centre sees 77,500 patients annually through walk-in and those booked directly into the service through external system partners such as NHS 111. We have a close relationship with the local hospitals and work across the city with our external partners, to ensure we are providing high-quality care for our patients.
