Job summary

The Care Centre Director role at The Dean Neurological Centre provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior leader with a strong background in leading and developing high-performing teams. Main duties of the job

As the Care Centre Director, you will have overall responsibility for the service, including regulatory compliance, leading the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring operational performance while also developing commercial opportunities with stakeholders and referrers. Your key responsibilities will include leading the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring regulatory, quality, and financial targets are met, and promoting the hospital's reputation for specialist care and service. You will need to have an excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare or social care sector, a deep understanding of neurological services, and a credible, inclusive, and supportive leadership style.

Job responsibilities

If you are an experienced senior leader with a strong background in leading and developing high performing teams, looking for a new opportunity to put your mark on an established neurological rehabilitation and complex care service, then apply to join the team at The Dean Neurological Centre.

You will be leading and managing the full clinical and operational teams, ensuring excellent care is delivered and maintained, and ensuring quality and financial targets are met.

As the Care Centre Director at The Dean Neurological Centre, you will have overall leadership and management responsibility of the service, regulatory compliance,  leading the multidisciplinary team, and be responsible for operational performance whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with stakeholders and referrers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of stakeholders, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice.
  • Ensuring regulatory, quality and financial targets are met,
  • Leading the senior management team on site, developing local strategy of the service, ensuring adherence to the service’s objectives, quality improvement and business plans.
  • Promoting and enhancing the hospital’s reputation for specialist care and service
  • Fulfilling the role of Registered Manager as per CQC expectations
  • Engagement with IIntegrated Care Boards and Local Authorities

To be successful as the Care Centre Director you will:

  • Have a excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare or social care sector
  • A  understanding of neurological services
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare or social care sector (essential).
  • An emphasis on performance and delivery in order to support successful service delivery and development, budget control, business development and revenue generation.
  • A credible, inclusive and supportive leadership style balanced with underpinning knowledge to provide direction and implement change.
  • Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical operational activities within a health or care sector organisation.
  • Working knowledge of the Neurological provision
