Job summary

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the team at Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset. As a Team Secretary, you will be responsible for supporting the medical team with a range of administrative tasks, including handling confidential documentation, diary management, and providing general support to the Registered Clinician.

Main duties of the job

As a Team Secretary, you will be responsible for receiving and recording typing, checking and amending documents for spelling and grammatical errors, completing tasks within given deadlines. You will also participate in the administration, development, and evaluation of regulatory matters, coordinate the hospital diary and the whereabouts of the clinicians, book meetings, arrange conference calls, and deal with medical enquiries and referrals on behalf of Registered Clinicians. Additionally, you will undertake administrative duties in connection with audit and research as appropriate.

As a Secretary you will be:

  • Receiving and record typing, checking, and amending for spelling and grammatical errors, completing within given deadlines.

Location: Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9FF

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose built 101 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with Mental Health needs.

There are 6 wards for people with Mental Health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The Wellesley Hospital built in 2017 works alongside Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Foundation Trust, Cornwall Foundation Trust, 2gether Foundation Trust,  and Livewell to deliver the best possible environment for patients with Mental Health issues.
