This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning and development professional to join Elysium Healthcare as a Regional Learning and Development Partner. You will be responsible for designing and delivering future-focused regional learning plans, ensuring learning activity is disciplined, consistent, and impactful. You will work closely with operations teams to build capability and confidence across their services, while also providing insights to the central learning function.

Main duties of the job

As the Regional Learning and Development Partner, you will act as the strategic lead for learning across an operational region at Elysium Healthcare. You will work closely with Operations Directors, Regional Service Directors, local management teams, and the central Learning and Development function to provide trusted consultancy and professional oversight. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering regional learning plans aligned to business objectives, assessing delivery quality and performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will also feed regional insights into the central learning portfolio to ensure learning across Elysium remains relevant, high-quality, and aligned with strategic and regulatory requirements.

Are you an experienced learning and development professional who thrives on strategic partnership and meaningful impact? If so, join us as a Regional Learning and Development Partner to act as the strategic lead for learning across an operational region at Elysium Healthcare.

You’ll own the regional learning plan, assess delivery quality and performance, while identifying opportunities for improvement. By feeding regional insights into the central learning portfolio, you will help ensure learning across Elysium remains relevant, high quality, and aligned with strategic and regulatory requirements. Your work will support operational excellence while keeping the needs of service users at the heart of workforce development.

A Regionally Owned, Strategically Aligned Learning Plan:

  • A clear plan that reflects real need, addresses risk, and is aligned to strategic objectives.

Quality and Consistency of Learning Delivery:

  • Assurance that training content is delivered correctly by competent facilitators.
  • Escalation of concerns when quality assurance standards are not met.

Insight & Influence into Central Curriculum and Strategy

  • Providing actionable insights to the Portfolio Lead and central team.
  • Ensuring regional feedback shapes future content and learning priorities.

Improved Learning Outcomes & Capability Uplift

  • Demonstrable influence on performance, care quality, and workforce competence.
  • Closing capability gaps identified through training matrices or audit findings.

Strong Relationships & Effective Stakeholder Management

  • Being a visible, trusted advisor to RSDs and operational leadership.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

  • Highlighting where learning gaps could compromise safety, compliance, or performance.
  • Supporting regions in addressing risks proactively.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a learning and development role within healthcare or a complex, regulated environment
  • A through understanding of complex care, mental health and/or CAMHS
  • Strong track record of leading Learning and Development projects, learning strategies, and leadership development programmes
  • Experience conducting Learning Needs Analysis (LNA), evaluating training impact, and using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of clinical and nonclinical training requirements
  • Confident leader with experience managing Learning and Development teams or regional partners and engaging key stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across sites
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and compliance/governance frameworks
  • Digitally confident, with experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and intranet platforms
  • CIPD Level 5 in Learning and Development (or equivalent)
