Job summary

This role as a Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare's The Bridge facility in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. The role requires a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance to navigate the challenging environment, but it is highly rewarding to see the positive impact of your involvement in improving the lives of the individuals under your care.

Location: Lower East Street, Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, TS2 1SW

You will be working at The Bridge, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

As a care centre, this service is a home from home offering en-suite accommodation and spacious communal areas with dedicated therapy spaces, where truly person-centred care is delivered and where each individual is at the heart of everything.
