Main duties of the job

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions. What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.  

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

Location: 13 Alexandra Gardens, Hounslow, TW3 4HT

13 Alexandra Gardens is a twelve bed, mixed gender, community based service. The property comprises of eight beds in the main house and four self-contained flats for people who may not be able to live in larger groups. The people who are supported at 13 Alexandra Gardens have severe learning disabilities, autism and associated health needs with behaviours which due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging

This is a permanent position. You’ll work 30 hour contracts , nights, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 21.30-7.30
