Main duties of the job
As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical team at the Brighton & Hove Clinic. This will involve managing the clinicians' diaries, planning meetings, updating records, and handling confidential paperwork and service user records. You will also liaise with external agencies to gather information and assist with GP letters. The role requires strong IT skills, experience in audio typing, and excellent communication and organisational abilities. A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent is required, along with knowledge of mental health and medications.
