Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker at Ballington House, you will be part of an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions. Your day-to-day duties will include talking and interacting with service users, supporting and motivating them with their recovery and treatment goals, such as daily living tasks and community involvement. You will also be responsible for carrying out duties allocated by the multidisciplinary team, updating patient records, responding to incidents, supporting mealtimes, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The role can be challenging at times, but it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement and knowing that you've made a positive difference in their lives.
