Are you a Speech and Language Therapist with Neuro experience, looking for a new opportunity where you will be supported to develop and achieve your goals to become the best you can be? If so, join Badby Park Neurological Centre in Daventry.

You will lead group therapeutic group sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. Building one-to-one rapport with service users, you will encourage engagement and empower recovery. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. 

With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you’ll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals

As a Speech and Language Therapist you will be:

• Demonstrating specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate appropriate strategies for caseload management. 
• Undertaking audits and contributing to research in the provision of treatments.
• Specialist knowledge in the areas of neurological patients.

 To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• HCPC registration
• Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
• Experience of working with families
• Evidence of continuing Professional Development

Where you will be working

Location: Badby Road West, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 4NH

You will be working at Badby Park, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

You will work alongside side the multidisciplinary and clinical teams to deliver truly person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything. The service has extensive facilities to cater for specific needs for people over 18 years old, who have complex neurological care and rehabilitation requirements

• You will need to have HCPC registration, experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia, experience of working with families, and evidence of continuing Professional Development.
