Job summary

This is a temporary staff nurse role at Elysium Healthcare's Beck House facility in Darlington, which is a registered care service with nursing that provides six bespoke single-person apartments, enabling individuals to live in their own space. The service is due to open in January 2026. The role involves providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users, as well as mentoring and supporting team members.

Main duties of the job

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for service users. Your day-to-day duties will include providing high-quality nursing care, observing and reporting on service user changes, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be expected to provide mentorship and support to team members, and promote positive teamwork.
