Senior Clinical Nurse - 12 month Contract

Job summary

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Senior Clinical Nurse at Elysium Healthcare's Arbury Court facility in Warrington. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar setting, either in the NHS or private care, and will lead and guide a team of nurses to provide exceptional care for adult women with personality disorders and mental health conditions in medium, low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) environments.

Main duties of the job

As a senior member of the nursing team, you will provide a high-profile, visible clinical leadership to the hospital-wide nursing team. You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees, and visitors, ensuring that standards of patient care are maintained at all times within the parameters of operational policies and governing legislation. Your responsibilities will include active promotion of multi-disciplinary working, participation in the Senior Nurse on-call arrangement, providing the Director of Nurses with relevant, accurate, and timely information, leading the Nursing Services to ensure the highest possible professional standards, managing resources within budget allocation, supervising senior nurses, and deputizing for the Unit Manager.
