Job responsibilities

Are you an Occupational Therapist Assistant looking to work for a company that supports, values and recognises your dedication to delivering great healthcare? If so, this might be for you. You will work at Bromley Road, a rehabilitation service for men and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs and complicated addiction problems. People in your care may include those who have a forensic history and those who are detained under the Mental Health Act. You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver positive support and risk reduction strategies, as well as providing opportunities for social inclusion and building skills for independent living. Working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday ,under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will support the service in delivering structured activities and assisting in the planning for individual and group therapeutic interventions. You will build one-to-one rapports with service users to encourage participation in activities and empower recovery. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities in order to measure progression and ensure effectiveness. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth. Your responsibilities will include:
