Collaborating with our dedicated team, your role will cover evaluating and refining care plans to ensure they meet evolving needs, as well as overseeing and auditing medications. Your responsibilities as a Charge Nurse will also include: Ensuring the is adequate staffing to maintain the safety of the hospital Discussing improvement ideas with appropriate people and agrees on a prioritised plan of implementation to take forward agreed improvements Ensuring all employees managed have annual appraisals and personal development plans in place, facilitate supervision and comply with mandatory training Identifying and managing risk at work Monitoring the performance and conduct of staff and take corrective action when necessary Promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing and interests of all service users and employees Monitoring incidents and required documentation Adhering to Welsh Safeguarding procedures Ensuring safer staffing as required Conducting Audits as required As a Charge Nurse you will need: Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment Proven track record of leadership skills What you will get Competitive annual salary from £44,367 £5,000 Welcome Bonus The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (inc Bank Holidays)- plus your birthday off!
