Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Clinical Psychologist, you will be supervised to help deliver a range of different assessments and interventions to people within a group and individual setting.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will also oversee collection and analysis of various clinical data, including neurocognitive and behaviour assessments, and outcome measures. You will also assist with staff training and preparation of reports.

Carrying out a range of clinical activities under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist
Conducting protocol-based psychological assessments using appropriate psychometric measures, direct and indirect observation, and semi-structured interviews, scoring and reporting (verbal/written) under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist
Overseeing collection and preliminary analysis of data for individual behaviour assessments
Assisting in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups
Helping to coordinate routine completion of appropriate outcome measures
Receiving regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines
Attending and contributing to various relevant meetings
Supporting the Clinical Psychologist within the service on a day-to-day basis.
Assisting with audit and research
Maintaining the highest standards regarding clinical governance, ethical practice, and data protection
