Are you a motivated and autonomous practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and develop? Would you like to be a part of a brand new journey within a friendly and supportive team? Join our team at Hillview Hospital which has recently been acquired by Elysium Healthcare and is due to reopen as an adult service for people experiencing a diagnosis of Eating Disorder. Working 37.5 hours a week, you will have experience in managing a designated caseload, using theoretical knowledge and practical experience to assess service users' needs and to plan the OT programme, and take responsibility for setting up the Occupational Therapy service. You will design and implement a therapeutic programme which focus on empowering recovery and independence through least restrictive practice. Opportunities for service users at Hillview Hospital include a range of work and vocational roles. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you in reaching your career goals. This role involves:

  • Completing assessments, planning sessions and implementing interventions.
  • Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
  • Supervise Activity Coordinator
  • Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to support the care plans
