Job summary

An experienced and motivated Dietitian is required to join an exciting new Eating Disorder Service in Midhurst, West Sussex. The service will have 12 beds for young adults between the ages of 18-25 years. The hospital is ideally located to provide safe and therapeutic care whilst at the same time remaining in the heart of the community.

Main duties of the job

To be Successful as a Dietitian you will need: Must be registered on the HCPC BSc in Dietetics of post graduate diploma in Dietetics Knowledge and understanding of Eating Disorders in Children and Young Adults and their impact on both To be compassionate and open minded: treating colleagues, patients, carers and relatives with dignity and respect Ability to take instruction and work as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate local policies, protocols and care pathways. To contribute to the skill development of junior staff within the unit in regards to dietetics.
