Main duties of the job

Dependant on your experience you may be required to supervise other Mental Health Practitioners, Clinical Psychology Trainees, Healthcare Students, and Assistants. The core of your role you will be providing specialist assessments of children and young people within the residential setting. So, subsequently, you will formulate and implement plans of therapeutic intervention/management of children and young peoples presentation based on psychological understanding the difficulties within the current evidence-based practice, in conjunction with the wider MDT at the setting.

Job Role

You will be providing a therapeutic service to young people placed within community residential setting by assessing and identifying their needs and meeting them through consultation and training to Residential and Care staff, direct therapeutic work, care planning and management in conjunction with the Multi-disciplinary team.
