Job summary

Assistant Mental Health Practitioner Maternity Cover: starting December 2025 Cambian Group, the UKs largest provider of specialist services in childrens residential care, education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated individual to join the company as an Assistant Mental Health Practitioner. The post will require someone with previous experience of working in a CAMHS settings, specifically within Looked after Childrens services and experience of working with children who have experienced a range of traumatic events.

Main duties of the job

To work under the guidance of the clinical CSE Lead by offering therapeutic support to the CSE homes across five homes as directed by the CL. The therapeutic support is delivered using a consultation model and is clinically led by the CL. Home may require direct therapeutic work with young people under the supervision of an experienced clinician. This role will involve a close and collaborative working with the operational staff, including the home and regional manager.

Attendance at TACs of any home with info gathering and feedback to CL
