Job summary
Perform a wide range of hand surgeries and injections, including but not limited to, carpal tunnel release, trigger finger, Dupuytrens contracture, De Quervains syndrome and Ulnar nerve release.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and patient education.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Main duties of the job
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in hand surgery
Completion of specialty training in Orthopaedics with experience in Hand Surgery.
Proven experience in performing a variety of hand surgeries independently.
Proficiency in the latest surgical techniques
Proficiency in local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
