We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring registered nurse or nurse associate to join our existing nursing team on a part time basis. We would consider a newly qualified nurse as training would be given .

Main Duties

wound care and other treatment room duties

And depending on experience- child and adult immunisations, cervical cytology, chronic disease management

Staplehurst Health Centre is situated amongst the parade of shops in the heart of the village. We use Emis web clinical system and currently have around 7000 patients registered with us. The nursing team at Staplehurst is a small friendly team consisting of 2 Practice Nurses and an HCA.

The role details are

Annual negotiable

NHS Pension

Part time negotiable

25 days annual leave + bank holidays pro rata

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population. The practice nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, well women and well man clinics, as well as supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
