The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is recruiting a Nursing Associate to join our Medical Ward or Neuro Rehabilitation Ward. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of inpatient and rehabilitation care, supporting patients with complex medical and neurological conditions within a high-performing multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job
As a Nursing Associate you will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care. Working under the guidance of Registered Nurses and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the ongoing care and monitoring of patients conditions, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within the Nursing Associate scope of practice, while working closely with Registered Nurses to ensure patients receive safe and effective care.
If you are a registered nursing associate with experience of working within a Medical or Neuro Ward, this opportunity may be perfect for you.
Your duties will involve, but not limited to the following:
- Delivering compassionate and person-centred care
- Practise safely and effectively within scope of competence
- Monitor, record and escalate patient needs appropriately
- Support care delivery in line with agreed care plans
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and the MDT
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Preserve dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Promote professionalism and trust in line with the NMC Code
